Weekend Round-Up - 15/16 February 2025

The Ladies First Team progressed to the County Cup Final, but it was a mixed bag of results for our youth sides across the weekend.

Ladies
The Ladies First Team booked their place in the BBFA Women's Trophy Final, winning 3-0 on penalties after it ended 2-2 against Taplow United Ladies. Goals came from Ava Sims and Naomi Paxford.

A Georgia Hind hat-trick and goals from Jess Welch, Katy Clapman and Gemma Hargood helped the Ladies Reserves to a 6-0 victory over Rotherfield United Women Development.

Mens
The Men's Reserves suffered a 1-0 defeat against Mortimer at CSA.

Alex Robinson was on the scoresheet as the Saturday A's were beaten 3-1 at Berks County Rovers.

The Sunday Reserves progressed to the Tilehurst Charity Cup semi-finals with a 4-0 victory over Tilehurst El Patrons, with goals coming from Adam Bowyer, Zak Chowdhary, Ollie Brown and Stef Allen.

The Sunday A's were defeated 3-0 by Farley Hill.

Youth
The U18's took the points with a 5-1 win over Woodley Saints Eagles.

Austin Greenhalgh scored a late goal for the U17 Bisons in a 2-1 defeat at Maidenhead Boys & Girls Dolphins.

A last minute goal saw the U17 Buffalos suffer a 3-2 defeat at Caversham Trents Blues. Ethan Smith and Teddy Midson were on the scoresheet.

Goals from William Folkard (4), Alexander Desai and Charlie Ashurst earned the U15 Pythons a 6-0 victory over FC Holyport Predators.

Despite goals from Jude Harlen and Gabriel Buddery, the U15 Vipers were defeated 5-2 by Maidenhead Boys & Girls Wolverines.

The U14's suffered a 2-0 defeat against Reeves Rangers Hoops.

The U13 Raiders won 5-3 away at Laurel Park Hurricanes.

It ended in defeat for the U13 Girls as it finished 5-2 against Wokingham Town Eagles.

Also in action on Saturday were our teams from the U9's - U11's in EBFA and BYFL action.
