The Men's First Team are through to the final of the Thames Valley Premier League BTC Senior Cup following a 2-0 semi-final win against Reading YMCA on Wednesday (1 May).
We faced the current cup holders at Rivermoor Stadium, taking the lead in the opening minute through Jordan Cox. We doubled our lead mid-way through the first-half when a Tom McClellan cross from the left was flicked into the net by an opposition defender.
The BTC Senior Cup features the top teams from within the Thames Valley Premier League, and has seen us earn victories over Binfield U23, Woodley United Development, Holyport Reserves and Reading YMCA to earn our place in the final.
This will be the second cup final this season for the Men's First Team, having already secured silverware with victory in the Berks & Bucks Charles Twelftree Trophy Final in March.
We will now face either Maidenhead Town or Finchampstead in the final at Reading FC's Select Car Leasing Stadium on Friday 17th May.
