Dave is a Level 5 Senior County Match Official, with over 40 years of refereeing experience behind him.

As well as officiating matches locally in the Hellenic League, Thames Valley Premier League and Oxford Mail Youth Football League, amongst others, he has also refereed across Europe in Germany, Italy and Cyprus, and even in the Falkland Islands.

Alongside refereeing games, Dave continues to also hold the position of Appointments Secretary for the Thames Valley Church Football League.

In his role as Refereeing Mentor with the Burghfield committee, Dave will help to mentor young referees within the club, providing support and guidance as they continue to learn and progress on their journey.

He will also liaise with our Heads of Age to offer advice and help problem-solving with refereeing queries across all age groups, as and when required.
